RED ARMY CHORUS performance on Monday, April 9th, 2012 at $20 each.

 

All concerts begin at 7:30 PM at the Stefanie H. Weill Center.
Dates are subject to change.
Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis with no reserved seats.
Concert facilities are handicapped accessible.

Red Star Army Chorus and Dance Ensemble

“The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming!” The 2011-2012 season will mark the 20th anniversary tour of America for the Red Star Army Chorus and Dance Ensemble. This promises to be a spectacular finale to close the curtain on the 2011-12 season.

 Siberian Virtuosi, the State Ensemble of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), is an ensemble of twelve, 11 violinists and a pianist, which is gaining in increasing popularity in Russia and around the world. The ensemble is celebrating its first time in America with this, its North American debut tour.

The Hunt Family

The Hunt Family Fiddlers are an award-winning family of Irish step dancers, fiddlers and singers that perform Celtic, bluegrass, inspirational, country and light rock, plus a diverse repertoire of original compositions. Champion fiddling is mixed with a blend of world-ranked step dancing and beautiful vocal harmonies. Acoustic and electric guitars accompany soaring piano melodies and the fiddling and step dancing are first-rate.

Sirens of the 6o’s

A memorable hit in its premiere performances -- Sirens of the 60’s -- a new show by Colleen Raye of Girl Singers of the Hit Parade, featuring the music and singers of the 1960’s will be the third concert in the 2012-2013 season.

Colleen, her sister Debbie O’Keefe and Katie Gearty are the singers who perform these 60’s hits with very able backing by two keyboard players and a drummer.

Two on Tap

Two On Tap marks the creative collaboration of two celebrated musical theatre performers (and longtime friends), Melissa Giattino and Ron DeStefano. Their combined love for the beautiful melodies from the early days of Broadway, along with the classic precision of tap choreography, take center stage in their hit show A Tribute to Song and Dance.
